The structure of persuasive text is oreo.

O is opinion. Opinion is what you think the topic is about. For example: a opinion is like this. We should not have the lunches because people waste the food. And sometimes people pour food out. People put their food in the bin and put their container in the tray without eating it.

R and E is reasons and explanation. Reason is the back up for a opinion. Explanation is telling examples about the topic. For example: They spent their time to give us lunches and it’s a waste of time if you don’t eat it. The lunch lady should have a rest because they have to use their time to make the lunches.

O is opinion. Opinion is the last pieceof what you want to text. For example: You should just eat the food you’re given from home. 

How to state your opinion.

Use a structure using ape, ape stands for assertion, proof and explain.

Then write the assertion, assertion means explain what you think. The first slide LS1 had to do was the soft toy. the topic was about who should get the bear the older brother or the younger brother.

Lastly LS1 did all of the slides and LS1 only needed to explain what you think. for the slides. the topics are about your opinions.

I learnt how to spot the mistakes.

First I did a warm up called Kahoot to play against people. We had 30 questions to answer.

Next I went on a google doc and made a copy of it with sentences and we had to make it make sense. There were 10 qeustions that we had to make sense and any incorrect punctuation.

Lastly I looked to see if there were any mistakes.

I enjoyed this task because I got to find mistakes. I need to improve on spotting them better. I did well at changing to make sense.

There are five different persuasive texts they are: speech, letter, advertisment, review, article.

Speech is taliking in a big audience is to make someone believe the same as you. letter is writting a text to make someone think the same as you.

Advertisement is making toy commercials and making people convinced and making sure people beleive the same thing. Review is to induce to make someone do something and to convert to change someone’s mind.

Articles are websites that talk about famous people a piece of writing included with others in a newspapers and  magazines.

I enjoyed this task because I got to learn what a persuasive texts. I need to improve on knowing what it actually means. I did well at high lighting the text.

We made a simple recount writer.

First we wrote our story, It was about a boy getting kidnapped. To show kids to not talk to strangers.

Next we wrote our oreintation and it said Josh’s family goes to the playground with their son to have some fun.

Lastly we it was that the police caught the kidnapper and put him in jail for 12 years.

I enjoyed this task because I got to write. I need to improve on knowing more about the Manaiakalani. I did well at writting some stuff.
