For PB4L we had to do this task called ask for help.

First I had to go on to jamboard I had to do What is something new you have tried recently? How did it make you feel?

Then I had to do task ask for help, we could pick a google drawing landscape or portrait to write a DLO,

Next I was doing ask for help answers like :

• Everyone needs help sometimes so it’s ok for you to ask for help.
• Always say “please can u help” and don’t be “help me hurry up”
• I’m working hard, but I’m still not understanding this  Can you help me?
• Can you give me advice about my work im not sure i can complete this task

Lastly I did this blog post.

enjoyed doing my blog. I need to improve on asking for help myself. I did well at my DLO.

I had to make a poster, caring for equipment and property.

First I had to write my title, strategies, visuals, encouragement and my name. the title was Poster Caring For Equipment And Property, then I wrote not leaving equipment then I wrote my reasons: Leaving our belongings is one of the things that could get your things stolen, broken.

Next I wrote: also for respecting your property or school property, by not walking while eating because u might drop your food or your rubbish. respecting our property is good for the environment and for your surrondings.

Lastly I wrote  Strategies to prevent equipment getting or stolen and caring for our belongings. Preventing people from stealing your equipment: Not letting people through your stuff, Not Letting people touch your stuff, Not putting your stuff where it shouldn’t be, Naming your stuff so people know its yours then I wrote my encouragements your equipment your responsibility.

I enjoyed this task because I got to share my opinions on caring for equipment and property. I think I did well at writing.I need to improve on writing more tho.

This week in PB4L we discussed the significance of  looking after our equipmenet and property.

Respect is the CARE value we are focusing on. Our first task was to contribute ideas to the jamboard, one of the questions was: why is it important to take care of your own equipment and property? so it doesnt get lost.

Next we did 3 more slides and anwered all of them then we made google slide called caring for our belongings.

Lastly we could pair with someone and then we had to make these slide of why we should take care of our belongings and caring for our chromebook me and my partner did our reasons on why we should take care of our belongings.

I wrote Our belongings need to be kept in our bag reasons why: When doing tests you need to be ready for the next day for it and your chromebooks charged. Putting our uniform like our jumpers in our bags or losing it an might have to buy another one your parents might not want to because it’s too much.

When you do the kawa of care its your responsibility to look after your chromebook, and not putting food or drinks close to it.

I need to improve at writing more, I did well at writing, I enjoyed this task because I could explain why you need to care for your belongings.

We had to explain what the 4 care values are.

First I had to make a google drawing for it but I peared up with someone I wrote the first care value confidence this is shown by showing you speak to a crowd, Its when you talk to a crowd and not being nervous to speak or expressing yourself and sharing ideas. Attitude is being nice to everyone and picking up rubbish.

Next i did my attitude its shown by being nice and listening by not disturbing people whilst talking, and also keeping our school clean.

Then I did respect, its picking up rubbish and keeping our school clean. Being man is not being respectful, respect people when your in school uniform and going somewhere public because it means your putting your school down for not have good respect.

Lastly I did Excellence and our school whakatauki, excellence is shown by doing our work and doing what your expected to do before told by someone, our schoold whakatauki is: Manaaki Whenua Manaaki Tangata Haere Whakamua.

This week for my PB4L we did work about Recycling Our Rubbish, and disposing of rubbish correctly.

First I had to go and make a copy of the Recycle Your Rubbish DLO.

Next I had to go and put what is Recycle Your Rubbish images of Rubbish and environment.

Last I had to go and make a Thank You Whaea Hera Whaea Hera is my luch lady and I had to put we appreciate  and thank you.

I enjoyed doing my blog. I need to improve on my DLO. I did well at my PB4L.

Today I had to write about what hedgehogs make them feel safe.

First I wrote to why is it improtant to be mindful of hedgehogs, I wrote: because they might get scared.  Also because they have quills that shoot out when they are scared.  They can get scared easily because we’re much bigger than them.

Next I had to write some ways we can help hedgehogs feel safe I wrote: Leaving it alone. Try to be mindful. Encourage others to leave it alone. Don’t provoke it.

Lastly I had to find some facts about hedgehogs, hedgehogs are noturnal meaning they are active at night, Hedgehogs are one of the only 3 animals in the UK that hibernate.  A group of hedgehogs is called an array.They don’t have great eyesight so they use their sense of smell.

Being inclusive is including people, and saying something to include someone or do something.

Inclusive is important because they can be left out. And can make freinds by including people so they might include you. For example: Want to play with me?, Come join us in tag, What game do you want to play first?

Including people makes people want to be freinds, And don’t be lonely when playing by themselves. Including people is good because they can include if you include them into your group and games.

Motivating words of situations: something you can’t do, feeling sad or doesn’t want to do.

Normal motivating words are: You can do it, Just believe in yourself, Keep trying you will do it eventually, Keep trying and you will do it, Don’t disbelieve in yourself, Don’t give up. 

These are just some of the motivating words, there are hundreds or thousands of motivating words that can be told to someone that is feeling sad or can’t do something.

Words can help people by people telling someone that they can do it, words can make people from not anting to do something to wanting to do something. If people get told motivating words they would want to do it or feel happier, motivating words are important for people that won’t do something because there scared or don’t want to do it.

I learnt what uniform is acceptable for school and what office procedures are.

First I thought about the ideas for is acceptable for the school uniform, for example wearing stud earrings, blacks hair tie and black socks.

Next we madea film about what to do when the office lady calls for a runner. First thing to say is hello the office lady I am from LS1 and what was I called for, and if the office lady tells you to get people and if it’s to much people ask to write it down on a sticky note or paper. and when your done talking say thank you and bye.

I enjoyed this task because I got to learn about the uniform to wear and the office procedures. I need to improve on knowing more about the school uniform. I did well at writing my office procedures. 

There are 2 types of eating, Formal eating and casual eating. when you eat forrmally. For example, Formal eating is when your at Grandma’s birthday and you need your manners. And casual eating is when your at your freind’s birthday party.

Formal eating is: sitting down, and using your manners, Eating over your plate.

Casual eating is eating with your mouth closed, Don’t stuff your mouth when your eating.

There are 2 types that can be used at certain places and times.
