I leanrt about the Pa’u drum.
First I picked a drum and reaserched about the Pa’u drum.
Next I wrote 5 facts about the Pa’u, the pa’u mango was mad for te papa.
Lastly I wrote the introduction the introduction was The pa’u was invented in 1992, and the pa’u mango was made for Te Papa.
I enjoyed this task because beacause I learnt about the Pa’u drum. I need to improve on finding more facts about the Pa’u drum. I did well on finding the Pa’u drum because it’s used for dances and special events.
Today I learnt how to write a Imaginative Recount
First I wrote all of my ideas for my reveal into a sentence for my hook and reveal.
Next I wrote my events 1 2 and 3. I used my ideas to make a plan. My plan was that Sahil and Lee goes on the bike together and Mum and Dad went double as well. And James and Kim went by themselves.
Lastly I wrote the ending. I wrote that the other survivor attacked Kim.
I enjoyed this task because I lreant how to make a imaginative recount. I did well on planning my story. I need to improve on thinking on what to write in the story.
I did a activity called prototec, this activity helps make you learn basic facts.
First a question will pop up and we had three seconds to anwer the qeustion and after we answered all the qeustions.
Then we did it again but with out the time. We could think about what the answers are.
After we finished we got our maths book and wrote 10 of the answers we got wrong.
Lastly, there was a button called mark and it shows how many got wrong and right.
I got less answers on the non time and I got 8. and with the time I got 13.
I enjoyed this task beacause I got to learn more basic facts. I need to improve on getting more answers right.
We learnt what complex sentences are.
First we wrote complex sentences and took a photo of what was happening in the sentence.
A complex sentence is 2 simple sentences but one has an independent clause and dependent clause.
The difference is that independent clause make sense. Dependent clause need an aaawwubbis.
We did 6 slides and we put aaawwubbis in different places.
I enjoyed thinking of sentences and the photo.
I need to get better at knowing the aww biis.
